“So many human bones. So many gardens nearly dried.”

June 28, 2025 2 min read Poetry

If a person suddenly encountersAt least one knack to look around; He will grow insane with jolters,And his thoughts will twist around.

Realizing upon this Earth-thingThere're so many human bones; He will surely lose it, readingHints behind the stones.

These no man's lands were once embracedWhere joy was found in every sound. But these settlements, too, will be erased,Desolate, and lost beneath the ground.

Who hasn't come to the world, and what hasn't happened inside? What number of gardens are nearly entirely dried?
