In the praise of Asymmetry

“A quiet treaty between all things that could destroy each other.”

July 10, 2025 2 min read Poetry

A circle is not madeby drawing a curve, but by the spacethe line refuses to occupy.

Lightborrows darknessto become visible.

The universe writesin paired sentences:birth beside burial, arrival beside departure.

The heart, too,is composedof two movements:one gathers, the other lets go.

What we call harmonyis not the absence of conflict.

Perhaps perfection is not symmetry. It is a quiet treatybetween all thingsthat could destroy each other, but decide to remainin composition.
