The Caged Falcon

They caught the falcon in a cage,and want to see his instinct rage.

Didn't provide him sky,but repeatedly ask to fly.

Tied his feet with rope,still demanded strength and hope

Clipped the feathers from his wings,then mocked the silence that it brings.

Built him walls instead of air,called him weak for lingering there.

So blame not birds that cease to soar,when you've locked every open door.
